Hello,

Thanks for your modifications, but please use the latin alphabet exclusively without resorting to greek letters such as gamma or epsilon. Thanks.

Hello,

I'm sorry but i didn't get the meaning of your comment - see above -.

I have always thought that the kabyle language among others was since 1996 of greek-latin fixation - see http://www.centrederechercheberbere.fr/tl_files/doc-pdf/notation.pdf - a workshop to which I took part as first promotion Student in DLCA (Département de langue et culture amazighes) in Bejaia.

The Greek letters of which are 2 (gamma /γ/ and epsilon /ε/) are part of the so rightly named greek-latin alphabet used to fixe down the kabyle.

Unless you want to know, the reason why I interchanged the grapheme (fricative-velar) /ɣ/ into /γ/? If so, the reason has typographical backgrounds [I am a typographer]. My grapheme /γ/, not to confound with /y/, is nicely (harmoniously) drawn according to the rest of the letters used to transcribe the language we are speaking here, therefore it looks better as the /ɣ/.

Both of them are drawings of the same phoneme: /γ/, which are designed differently by different font designers. My preferred book-fonts by fixing down the kabyle language are the so called – Calibri fonts.

PS. The article about “sticky fleabane, Amagraman” -  in kabyle language is my own one.

Best Regards

Hey

Please have a look at the HCA website , no traces of greek letters, the content is 100% latin (ɣ and ɛ belong to the extended latin alphabet but are abusively called greek in your pdf).

From a machine perspective: Tamaziɣt and Tamaziγt are two different words, just try it yourself with any browser (ctrl+F: search for either one the other word won't be highlighted). As a lazy homosapiens, I only use machines in order to search for content, I would not enjoy computing X possibilities before performing a search just because a letter might look prettier for some authors. Take for instance the word 'ɛerqeɣ', it would require repeating the search 3 times to get all the results, and 4 times if it starts with capital case... (you'd have to use sigma instead of epsilon for a capital letter, otherwise homosapiens would confuse with it with capital e)

Mixing the latin alphabet with the greek alphabet belongs to an era the homosapiens of the 21th century has forgotten: his ancestor of the 20th century was archaic and used very primitive machines such as typewriters.

Conclusion: Using greek letters is a cancer. This wiki has been cured from it, do not re-inject malicious cells. Thanks.
